Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data the Yacht Butler app (“the app”) processes, why, where, and what rights you have. It applies to the app and to this website.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Eduard Rukavina, Croatia. Contact: support@yachtbutler.app.
Which data we process
- Account: your email address (for sign-in codes), your name and user name, your role on the yacht (captain, owner, crew) and which parts of the app you may use.
- Yacht data you enter: yacht details, tasks, maintenance, inventory, documents and their photos or scans, expenses, APA, refit works and quotes, log book entries (times, places, miles, notes) and voice notes.
- Voice commands: speech is turned into text by your phone's own speech service (Google on Android, Apple on iOS). The resulting sentence is sent to our server and to our AI provider so the app can understand it. We do not store recordings of voice commands.
- Photos and receipts for AI reading: when you choose to have a quote or receipt read, its pages are sent to our AI provider for that reading only and removed afterwards.
- Location: for the morning weather, the app sends approximate coordinates of your phone (rounded) to the weather service. The location is not stored on our servers.
- Technical data: an identifier of the installation, needed to synchronise data between phones, and the usual technical logs of our providers.
Why (legal basis)
- To provide the app you asked for - the contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the service secure and working - our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Location for the weather - your permission on the phone, which you can withdraw at any time in the phone settings.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase - database, sign-in and file storage, in a data centre in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Anthropic - AI that understands voice commands and reads quotes and receipts. Data is sent only when you use these features and, under Anthropic's commercial terms, is not used to train their models. Transfers outside the EU rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Resend - sends the sign-in code emails, from the European Union (Ireland).
- Open-Meteo - weather forecast for the approximate location.
- Google / Apple - app distribution, notifications and the phone's speech recognition.
Data on a yacht is visible to the members of that yacht according to the access the captain gives them.
How long we keep data
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see Delete account) your personal data is deleted within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to yacht data is checked on the server for every request, so each person sees only the yachts and parts of the app they are allowed to use.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing. Write to support@yachtbutler.app. You may also complain to the Croatian data protection authority (AZOP, azop.hr) or the authority in your country.
Children
The app is a work tool for yacht crews and is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
We will publish changes on this page and update the date above. Important changes will also be announced in the app.

Ova pravila objašnjavaju koje osobne podatke obrađuje aplikacija Yacht Butler („aplikacija“), zašto, gdje i koja su vaša prava. Odnose se na aplikaciju i ovu web stranicu.

Koje podatke obrađujemo
- Račun: vaša email adresa (za kodove za prijavu), ime i korisničko ime, uloga na jahti (kapetan, vlasnik, posada) i dijelovi aplikacije koje smijete koristiti.
- Podaci o jahti koje upišete: podaci o jahti, zadaci, održavanje, inventar, dokumenti i njihove fotografije ili skenovi, troškovi, APA, radovi i ponude, zapisi brodskog dnevnika (vremena, mjesta, milje, napomene) i glasovne bilješke.
- Glasovne naredbe: govor u tekst pretvara usluga za prepoznavanje govora na vašem mobitelu (Google na Androidu, Apple na iOS-u). Dobivena rečenica šalje se našem poslužitelju i našem pružatelju AI usluge kako bi je aplikacija razumjela. Snimke glasovnih naredbi ne spremamo.
- Fotografije i računi za AI čitanje: kad odaberete da se ponuda ili račun pročita, stranice se šalju pružatelju AI usluge samo radi tog čitanja i nakon toga se brišu.
- Lokacija: za jutarnju vremensku prognozu aplikacija šalje približne (zaokružene) koordinate mobitela usluzi za vremensku prognozu. Lokacija se ne sprema na naše poslužitelje.
- Tehnički podaci: oznaka instalacije, potrebna za usklađivanje podataka između mobitela, i uobičajeni tehnički zapisi naših pružatelja usluga.
Zašto (pravna osnova)
- Da bismo vam pružili aplikaciju koju ste zatražili: ugovor s vama (članak 6. stavak 1. točka (b) GDPR-a).
- Da bi usluga bila sigurna i radila: naš legitimni interes (članak 6. stavak 1. točka (f)).
- Lokacija za vremensku prognozu: vaše dopuštenje na mobitelu, koje možete povući u bilo kojem trenutku u postavkama mobitela.
Osobne podatke ne prodajemo i ne koristimo ih za oglašavanje.
Tko obrađuje podatke za nas
- Supabase: baza podataka, prijava i pohrana datoteka, u podatkovnom centru u Europskoj uniji (Frankfurt, Njemačka).
- Anthropic: AI koji razumije glasovne naredbe i čita ponude i račune. Podaci se šalju samo kad koristite te mogućnosti i, prema Anthropicovim poslovnim uvjetima, ne koriste se za učenje njihovih modela. Prijenos izvan EU-a temelji se na standardnim ugovornim klauzulama EU-a.
- Resend: šalje emailove s kodom za prijavu, iz Europske unije (Irska).
- Open-Meteo: vremenska prognoza za približnu lokaciju.
- Google / Apple: distribucija aplikacije, obavijesti i prepoznavanje govora na mobitelu.
Podatke jahte vide članovi te jahte, u skladu s pristupom koji im dodijeli kapetan.
Koliko dugo čuvamo podatke
Dok postoji vaš račun. Kad obrišete račun (vidi Brisanje računa), vaši osobni podaci brišu se u roku od 30 dana, osim ako zakon traži da nešto čuvamo dulje.
Sigurnost
Podaci su šifrirani tijekom prijenosa. Pristup podacima jahte provjerava se na poslužitelju kod svakog zahtjeva, tako da svaka osoba vidi samo jahte i dijelove aplikacije koje smije koristiti.
Vaša prava
Možete tražiti pristup svojim podacima, ispravak, brisanje, ograničenje obrade, kopiju u prenosivom obliku te možete uložiti prigovor na obradu. Pišite na support@yachtbutler.app. Možete se obratiti i Agenciji za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP, azop.hr) ili nadzornom tijelu u svojoj državi.
Djeca
Aplikacija je radni alat za posade jahti i nije namijenjena djeci mlađoj od 16 godina.
Izmjene
Izmjene ćemo objaviti na ovoj stranici i promijeniti datum iznad. Važne izmjene najavit ćemo i u aplikaciji.

Welche Daten wir verarbeiten
- Konto: Ihre E-Mail-Adresse (für Anmeldecodes), Ihr Name und Benutzername, Ihre Rolle auf der Yacht (Kapitän, Eigner, Crew) und welche Bereiche der App Sie nutzen dürfen.
- Yachtdaten, die Sie eingeben: Angaben zur Yacht, Aufgaben, Wartung, Inventar, Dokumente samt Fotos oder Scans, Ausgaben, APA, Werftarbeiten und Angebote, Logbucheinträge (Zeiten, Orte, Seemeilen, Notizen) und Sprachnotizen.
- Sprachbefehle: Die Sprache wird vom Spracherkennungsdienst Ihres Handys (Google unter Android, Apple unter iOS) in Text umgewandelt. Der entstandene Satz wird an unseren Server und an unseren KI-Anbieter gesendet, damit die App ihn versteht. Aufnahmen von Sprachbefehlen speichern wir nicht.
- Fotos und Belege zum KI-Lesen: Wenn Sie ein Angebot oder einen Beleg lesen lassen, werden die Seiten nur dafür an unseren KI-Anbieter gesendet und danach gelöscht.
- Standort: Für das morgendliche Wetter sendet die App ungefähre (gerundete) Koordinaten Ihres Handys an den Wetterdienst. Der Standort wird nicht auf unseren Servern gespeichert.
- Technische Daten: eine Kennung der Installation, die zum Abgleich der Daten zwischen Handys nötig ist, und die üblichen technischen Protokolle unserer Dienstleister.
Warum (Rechtsgrundlage)
- Um Ihnen die gewünschte App bereitzustellen – Vertrag mit Ihnen (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO).
- Um den Dienst sicher und funktionsfähig zu halten – unser berechtigtes Interesse (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
- Standort für das Wetter – Ihre Erlaubnis auf dem Handy, die Sie jederzeit in den Einstellungen widerrufen können.
Wir verkaufen keine personenbezogenen Daten und nutzen sie nicht für Werbung.
Wer Daten für uns verarbeitet
- Supabase – Datenbank, Anmeldung und Dateispeicher, in einem Rechenzentrum in der Europäischen Union (Frankfurt, Deutschland).
- Anthropic – KI, die Sprachbefehle versteht und Angebote und Belege liest. Daten werden nur gesendet, wenn Sie diese Funktionen nutzen, und gemäß den geschäftlichen Bedingungen von Anthropic nicht zum Training ihrer Modelle verwendet. Übermittlungen außerhalb der EU stützen sich auf die EU-Standardvertragsklauseln.
- Resend – versendet die E-Mails mit dem Anmeldecode, aus der Europäischen Union (Irland).
- Open-Meteo – Wettervorhersage für den ungefähren Standort.
- Google / Apple – Vertrieb der App, Benachrichtigungen und die Spracherkennung des Handys.
Die Daten einer Yacht sehen die Mitglieder dieser Yacht, entsprechend den Rechten, die der Kapitän vergibt.
Wie lange wir Daten speichern
Solange Ihr Konto besteht. Wenn Sie Ihr Konto löschen (siehe Konto löschen), werden Ihre personenbezogenen Daten innerhalb von 30 Tagen gelöscht, sofern das Gesetz keine längere Aufbewahrung verlangt.
Sicherheit
Daten werden bei der Übertragung verschlüsselt. Der Zugriff auf Yachtdaten wird bei jeder Anfrage auf dem Server geprüft, sodass jede Person nur die Yachten und Bereiche der App sieht, die sie nutzen darf.
Ihre Rechte
Sie können Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung und eine Kopie in einem übertragbaren Format verlangen sowie der Verarbeitung widersprechen. Schreiben Sie an support@yachtbutler.app. Sie können sich auch bei der kroatischen Datenschutzbehörde (AZOP, azop.hr) oder der Behörde in Ihrem Land beschweren, in Österreich bei der Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
Kinder
Die App ist ein Arbeitswerkzeug für Yachtcrews und nicht für Kinder unter 16 Jahren bestimmt.
Änderungen
Änderungen veröffentlichen wir auf dieser Seite und passen das Datum oben an. Wichtige Änderungen kündigen wir auch in der App an.
